This addition and renovation included a new weather protected entrance, a master suite, a bathroom, kitchen refinements, a study and reading space, a family room with views to the landscaped rear yard and an in-law suite. This evolution was undertaken with a focus on respect for the architectural characteristics of the existing dwelling, efficient relationships within an economical allocation of space, and improved aesthetics through the use of natural illumination. The building envelope was upgraded with enhanced insulation, improved windows, and energy efficient building systems.
